The late Leonard Wines was founder and chair of the USC Macintosh Users Group (MUG for short). My very first computer had been an Apple II+, but after my unit at the university provided Windows computers in all the offices, I left the Apple II+ behind and purchased a Windows desktop for my office at home for compatibility purposes. Many years later, it was Len who convinced me to buy my first iPad, the iPad 1. Since then, I have become totally immersed in the "Apple-sphere" (iPhone, iPad Mini, MacBook Air, and now this iMac that succeeded my last Windows desktop which crashed several days ago). I am grateful to Len and think about him frequently when I am using an Apple product.
